Joomla is a powerful tool. It can make a website much easier to manage, especially large websites, but it may also take a little bit of learning.  Not everyone can expect to just pop a site up and know what to do, just like you can't just pop someone behind the wheel of a truck and expect them to drive it well.

Stick to the Basics First in Joomla

If you are new to Joomla, stick with the basics first. How to add/edit content, and add/edit menus. Then maybe take a look at Components and Modules. Do not add a bunch of extensions in while you are learning the basics. Keep it Simple. Add/Edit. If you are looking for an alternative Microsoft Exchange, you should compare Exchange to Google Apps costs, and while checking costs, remember that you might be able to use the free Standard Edition.

Following the wave last month using the familiar looking 'Delivery Status Notification' (DSN) faking a bounced message, the spammers new technique appears to be using more familiar messages like Amazon order confirmations that look a lot like real Amazon orders. But it's getting a little scarier...

If you are interested in using Microsoft Exchange, you really should contact a local Network Engineer specializing in Exchange. Many companies, big and small like Exchange to handle their email and messaging, even with the costs involved, so go with what works best for you.
