Jude's websites are created using hand coded CSS incorporating tableless designs, JavaScript and XHTML. For best browser compatibility and to ensure compliance with web standards, all of her sites are tested using the W3C HTML and CSS validator.

Yes, I admit. This SevenSages.com website is not as organized as it should be.  Even I can't find info that I know exists. It's the curse of being too busy to take care of your own place. Like the Landscaper who has the worst looking lawn in the neighborhood.

Some services have small increases in prices. As usual, all hosting accounts are locked-in to the price they initially started with. So those that started at $240/yr soooo long ago, will always stay at that price level.

Joomla is a powerful tool. It can make a website much easier to manage, especially large websites, but it may also take a little bit of learning.  Not everyone can expect to just pop a site up and know what to do, just like you can't just pop someone behind the wheel of a truck and expect them to drive it well.

Stick to the Basics First in Joomla

If you are new to Joomla, stick with the basics first. How to add/edit content, and add/edit menus. Then maybe take a look at Components and Modules. Do not add a bunch of extensions in while you are learning the basics. Keep it Simple. Add/Edit. It's time to put the ancient, old, antique browser Internet Explorer 6 where it belongs... in the past. And if you feel you need your website designed to work with IE6, there will be additional programming costs.

The newer IE7 is a tremendous step forward (thanks to competition from Firefox).  This is simply a matter of economics.  Web Developers waste too much time trying to get their site designs to work with IE6, and that time/cost must be pushed to the website owners.

Unfair? Just another way to make money? No. Let me explain...
